Have you ever heard of airsoft? If so, then you have probably heard of the airsoft sniper rifles that everyone seems to love so much. You will find it interesting how airsoft sniper firearms work too. The way they work is they have a big, heavy duty spring in them, and when you pull the bolt back, it cocks the spring back. You have to cock them for each shot, just like with traditional (real) sniper rifles. However, they do make electric (AEG) airsoft sniper rifles, and gas sniper rifles as well, which work a little differently.

Any good airsoft sniper is spring powered, since they are far more reliable than the other kinds, and they shoot far more consistently as well. Most of the spring airsoft snipers even come with a bipod and a decent scope, depending on where you buy them. This is always a good thing, and will save you time and money.
